Hot Path and Performance Tips - Service Profiler now analyzes request timelines for common performance issues and helps you visualize the hot path. Analysis includes lock contention, blocked time on asynchronous calls, long database and http requests, and CLR JIT time.

Default sampling rate for detailed traces is lowered to 5% (from 50%). The agent still "primes the pump" by sampling at a higher rate when the agent first starts up to help user confirm data pipeline is working, but then backs off.
Memory heapdumps can be accessed from a timeline. This provides a memory snapshot at the time the detailed timeline trace was collected.
